It is now being discovered that the antidepressant medication known as Paxil is more deadly than helpful. As the matter of fact, Paxil has recently been given the street name of “suicide” pills. This is because it has been proven that children and adults who took Paxil for their depression or other mental related illness had increased thoughts of suicide and violence.
The law requires that drug companies disclose all information related to the risks of a specific medication to the Food and Drug Administration. It was recently discovered that the GlaxoSmithKline Company, which manufactures Paxil, concealed and misrepresented information about the side effects and addicting elements of Paxil.
It is believed that this was done in order to boost the sales of the drug. Not only did it boost the sales of Paxil, it also caused thousands of patients who took Paxil to experience increased thoughts of suicide and violence; and unfortunately, many acted upon these thoughts.
According to reports conducted by the IMR (Investigative Medication Routine), between the years 1993 and 2002, there were 19,000 persons in the United States who were victims of Paxil-induced suicides. That is a rate of about 6,000 per year. Studies have shown that the suicidal rate while taking Paxil has doubled and even tripled all over the world.
It is especially increased in children under the age of eighteen who took Paxil. Reports state that young children experienced suicidal thoughts, wild, out of control behavior, hallucinations, and hospitalization while taking Paxil.
It was estimated that approximately twenty to forty percent of the patients, including children who took Paxil had side effects severe enough to terminate the medication. However, when they terminated the medication, they were likely to experience withdraw symptoms because of the addicting elements of Paxil.
Because of the high number of Paxil-induced suicides around the world, GlaxoSmithKline, the British pharmaceutical giant, is now facing potential criminal prosecution for allegedly failing to inform the Food and Drug Administration and British drug authorities about the suicidal risk related to taking Paxil.
Have you thought about suicide or other violent actions while taking Paxil? Do you know someone who has thought about or actually committed suicide while taking Paxil? If you answered yes, then you should speak with an experienced Paxil attorney as soon as possible because you may be entitled to compensatory damages. A Paxil lawyer will be able to explain the possibility of a lawsuit with you and inform you of your rights regarding the claim.

What drug is worse for you ? Marijuanna – a natural plant – or PAXIL a chemical with lawsuits against it.?
paxil causes suicide – homicide – bone destruction – addiction – SLOWS you down – kills sex drive – makes you dopey and slurred – dangerous to drive on it. In a small dose marijuanna just makes you feel good and lots of things done the paxil side effects are not present.

Having used both in the past, I can honestly say the Paxil is worse…the side effects are horrible as well as the withdrawal symptoms! You are right about it’s addictiveness too.

Just because something is "natural" doesn’t make it safe. Hurricanes and sharks are natural.
Marijuana is not regulated. It could contain other ingredients you don’t know about.
Many people have taken Paxil without the side effects you mentioned. People are over eager to sue pharmaceutical companies. I’ve never heard of being ADDICTED to Paxil. Where do you get your information? Try using a reputable site, such as uptodate

You’re right, marijuana never destroyed anybody’s life. My good pal from high school didn’t end up unemployed on welfare living in one cesspool after another because he spent every day stoned for six years… he must have been secretly getting wasted on The Pax. Natural plants (hemlock, nightshade, holly, privet, foxglove, Gyromitra esculenta) are harmless. Thanks for letting me see the error of my ways.
…retard.

PAXIL”

BOTH ARE BAD ON THE BRAIN AND MENTAL STATE.
POT makes you dopey and forgetful.
Pot does all the things you mention Paxil does.
There are many NATURAL PLANTS that are poison if taken too much or the wrong way. Being NATURAL does not always mean GOOD FOR YOU. PEOPLE need to KNOW limits and that is one thing POT does is closes your mind to limits.
People become addicted to it and need more.
Poison ivy is natural too but would you go roll around in it?
Some natural herbs can kill if taken wrong or heal if taken right.
From what I have seen in here, most people do not have the knowledge to know what is GOOD and when to stop.
I have used both years ago and KNOW.

Oh, come on now!!!Paxil is an anti-depressant with no addictive qualities what-so-ever, does not make you "high" or feel good!!It helps some people deal with depression, I found it useless to me, but it does not kill brain cells!!Sounds like someone is trying (just a bit) to RATIONALIZE their pot use.

i think paxil is worse. although they r all controlled substances. marijuanna is actually not harmful. the chemical in weed kills cancer cells. i read it in the paper. researches have discovered it. tabacco is what causes cancer, not weed. i think the chemical in weed i called ttc or something to that nature. why would they give it to cancer patients? it eases the tention,. makes them feel better. weed does has it side effects though. but it won’t kill u. all of these other medication that the dr prescribe can b just as addictive. they might as well legalize marijanna. but 1 thing, if someone smokes it in public, who evers around will get a contact. could be a child, adult, etc. i really don’t think they will because u can b so high that u can get into an accident if driving but that’s only if u can handle it. if you’re a smoker it’s easier. it depends on the person. i hope this answers your question.marijuana isn’t as bad as everyone pertrays. yea, your brains do get fried!! BUT we are exposed to chemicals everywhere. gas stations, tunnels, the air, smoke. tell me what u think.
