Parents and Peers As a psychologist very familiar with the research, I think in “ Do Parents Matter? ” Judith Harris is conflating personality and behavior, which are two different concepts. Personality has more to do with genetic traits related to mood and energy (which plenty of research indicates are strongly influenced by genetics). Behavior, on the other hand, depends on context and is guided by laws of behaviorism–that is, reinforcement principles. If parents do (or do not) provide reinforcement for specific types of behavior, you will either see or not see those behaviors. Likewise, certain behaviors will be reinforced in the classroom by teachers.

teen suicide: 43% do, even though they are 300% more likely to kill themselves then straight teens.
Puberty: 16% (meaning if you buy 10 books only 2 would have even one page on homosexuality.)
Why is this?
Maybe homosexuality and suicide are not studied in correlation of eachother? (I know it is, just not nearly as much as it is with straight teens).

long story short…
boyfriend of TWO YEARS
fighting alot lately
ive been really annoying but my reason was because hes always playing video games with his friends & everything and never has time to see or talk to me
a week ago we were getting along perfect & everything was fine until i ruined it by mentioning another guy (to piss him off)
also he wanted to get off the phone & play video games before work & i said "no, youre staying on the phone, and we are talking."
of course, he got irritated & annoyed…
havent talked to him since then (which was last friday & now its almost MONDAY)
he wont answer my calls, and we’ve only texted within the week and a half.
i also call him in school when he doesn’t text me back right away (like within 2 minutes) to piss him off…it really works
& sometimes i call him 30+ until he picks up
one time he was sleeping till FOUR p.m. (wtf) & when he woke up he had 98 missed calls from me (he said "that shouldn’t be happening")
the texts we’ve had within the last week were
"im not being mean to you but you just act dumb sometimes (then he mentioned the calling in school thing) he said i love you but you just act dumb
i havent called him in three days
im waiting for him to come to me for a change
& hes ignored me for A WEEK AND A HALF
BUT AT 2:48 A.M. HE CALLED ME!!! AND THEN AGAIN AT 2:52!
i was sleeping so i didnt answer lol

and is he wondering why i havent called?
usually he just calls ONCE…but he called TWICE…
and im not sure why it was so earrly in the morning either?
by the way——–> he used to be clingy like this before too but he stopped, and changed for me because i told him i couldnt handle him being that way & my parents were getting annoyed at it too.

This is not love, it is obsession and you need to stop what you’re doing and get some help. It is not normal to call that many times and you are smothering to him. This is not what caring and/or love looks like my dear.

Don't do it.
