Change in Life Begins When You Start to Change Something

Just want to share with you my problem and tell how I dealt with this problem. I would be very glad if my story would help to someone. Because I was afflicted for a long time and no one could help me. Friends advised one thing, parents said another. And nothing could help me.
I am a student and I live in a student house. Our university is very popular among the country’s universities. Children of diplomats and big businessmen’s children study in our university. To study at our university is a little difficult. But as university is very prestigious, everybody try to study and at same time to give much time to different activities that are not related to their studies. Everybody who lives in student house try to show each other that they are the best in their studies, in social activities or personal life.
I was always a good schoolgirl and tried to be the best pupil in any subject in school. If I obtain an estimate of below 10, I rebuked myself for it. It’s not that parents have blamed me. No, my parents never amerced me because of marks. But I didn’t want to be even 1 point worse than someone from the class. Conception that I must be the best doesn’t leave the also in the university. But here I should receive high points not only from the teacher, but also from fellow students too. You should look great too, not only study good, it’s very important.
Due to the fact that I am not the first in everything at the university, I became depressed. And this depression grew over time in a nervous condition. I stopped to behave as before, I flare up like a match for any reason. For a long time I didn’t understand what happens to me. Sometimes I feel that depression develops into allergy, so-called allergic reactions to people or situations. And only a friend advised me to go to psychologist.
My parents hired me a therapist with whom I talked to about two weeks every day. The result that the doctor did was this: I need to look at things on the other hand, the fetishism “Excellent pupil” should be forgotten and buried, I need to update my wardrobe, outward, and a car =).
Walking home, I casually began to peer at shop windows. And don’t put off my deal in a distant box, I immediately bought two pairs of stylish Gucci sneakers. I wore them in the store and felt that I started even walk along the street so easier, just like I changed the style of life in a moment. Having visited a couple stores, I’ve got in my wardrobe a lot of new things. And my mood has changed to the better side.
My fetishism “Excellent pupil” disappeared, I still get high marks at the lessons and exams, but at the same time, I started get compliments and high points from students. My allergy went out, nervousness and depression disappeared.
I immediately remembered my doctor’s words about “change in life begins when you start to change something by yourself in your own life”. I let the changes start with pair of Gucci sneakers. That was a great start ;)

How was the World Depression in the 1930s a threat to international peace?

So for History class we were divided into a few groups and each group got a question. My group’s question was:

How was the world depression in the 1930s a threat to international peace? Describe Manchuria during 1931-33 and Abyssinia during 1935-36.

I’ve found a few good sources for Manchuria/Abyssinia, but I need help with the first part of the question. Please include your sources.

The Depression caused anger and resentment amongst people through out the world. With promises of glory and returns to economic prosperity, fascist leaders such as Hitler and Mussolini gained power and began military campaigns. This includes Japan’s invasion of Manchuria and Italy’s conflicts in Abyssinia (Ethiopia). The depression led to strong feelings of regaining national pride which eventually led to World War II.

What is the best way to suicide without any pain?

I’m screwed my life and now It’s getting more difficult to live every day, so I think maybe you can help me finding the best way to suicide myself. I know there’s a good idea to shoot myself with the gun, but I don’t have it, and there’s no way to get it. So please, help me find the way out of this, I need your suggestions now, guys.

There is nothing and i mean NOTHING that can not be undone! This is temporary, death is permanent. You do have people who love and care about you. What about them? Are you going to leave them to deal with this for the rest of their lives. How about children with failing hearts, Leukemia, the 16 yr old who has died in a car accident, the mother who has died and left children behind, the young man who just dies suddenly at a sports event or the father who dies of a sudden heart attack? All of these examples are very real. Their lives have been taken from them without a choice. You are just going to throw yours away? I think that you need to begin to think beyond yourself and think of the pain you would be causing. What would you tell a friend who was contemplating suicide? I highly doubt you would be supportive. Let me tell you what I have seen with people who have attempted suicide and failed. They are begging to be saved. "I don’t want to die" "Why did I do this?" Sadly, I have heard this when there is very little that can be done and these people are going to lose there lives very scared and very remorse full. Think of all of this before you think of suicide again. There is always a solution. My advice is to get yourself to an Emergency Room. You will be admitted and they will help you to figure things out. Please, don’t become a statistic! BTW….Just the fact that you are posting here tells me that you do not want to die, you want help. Go and get it!

What is the best way to commit suicide?

I want to know the most painless way to commit suicide. I’ve heard something about leaving your car on and falling asleep can kill you or something like that, i’m not sure. Please let me know some painless ways to commit suicide.

First of all, stop being selfish and think of all the people around you that you’re going to leave heartbroken, depressed and confused. Whatever you’re problem it can be solved and you WILL get through it, dont give up hope so easily. ‘When theres a WILL theres a WAY’ .. remember that, i know everyone says that, but its true. Ill tell you a little story..

My friend’s cousin who has 5 children hanged herself, apparently she had a lot of issues that none of her relatives knew about.. she wouldnt come to anybody for help, we found out she had money issues and other problems. She lived in poverty and not once did she ever call for help from her aunties who had enough money to help her. Some of the reasons might’ve been that she was the daughter of my friend’s aunt’s husband (uncle) from another wife. However, I believe she was treated like family but she just lived far away and I guess there just wasnt enough communication.. or maybe she was embarassed. Now, her children are left w/o parents.. her husband left her i THINK im not sure.. but right now my friend’s mom is considering adopting them but they live in another country and it takes years until they could be officially adopted.

Now the children are not only scarred but they have no parents to support them. Do you know what thats like? I always pray that they dont give up hope when I think about situations likes that, Can you imagine yourself like 5 or 3 years old and you just saw your mother hang herself? Its aweful .. so I really hope you’re not serious about what you’re saying it really IS a selfish thing to do.
