This video is created to inform the uninformed about the truth about suicidal teens–primarily with regards to GLBTQ.
I took images from online and edited most of them. The song I chose I felt had a touching and moving melody. I also felt it suited the pictures and what was being shared.
At the end there will be a 24/7 hotline JUST for GLBTQ teens. Please, if you are facing the pain, hardship and isolation that comes with depression etc., and doctors or your pastor can’t help you–call theses people who are trained to help you.
If you need simply someone to talk to, please do so. I am a gay man and also a Christian. I understand the shame, lies and half-truths that these pastors preach from the pulpit, but I tell you that they are not at all reason to end something that is so beautiful, amazing and worth while–your life. So please, send me a message–I am here to listen, and when asked, give advice.

I, as a gay German …
I, as a gay German teenager, suppose you´re right. Germany does not want one similarity to the Nazi-story to reoccur. In Germany gay marriage is legal. The only hard part for gay German teens is being accepted by the people around them, their coming out and their teenage life. Straight teenagers don´t accept homosexuality because they don´t understand it and therefore think it´s disguisting. German is purely Christian, therefore the church is against it, but powerless to make hate speeches.

If there is a God, then God wants us to take care of us and each other. I grew up without believing in God and I am a very tolerant, open minded and careful human. U dont need to follow a church to be good enough for God.

Which makes it more vital for us to live up to that duty to speak LOVE so we may cover a multitude of sins.
People chose to die because of confusion of their sexuality, what the church says about gays, and other leading factors, like the view the society as a whole and their family may have on them if they came out. So yes this is not only a REALITY but IS the voice that many hear and acts on.

Actually here in the US, mainstream Christianity (Dobson, Robertson and the likes) are ALL representatives of a huge group of Christians, especially churches that receive their radio shows, newsletters and other sources that promote and provide false teachings and beliefs of homosexuality. I am not saying Christianity IS the views held by such outspoken leaders of “Christianity” but they for sure speak louder into the hearts of the church as a whole.

Fundamentalist Protestantism is NOT representative of mainstream Christianity. Sorry, but folks are so stupid if they really base their belief in the existence/nonexistence of God on the views of a handful of very vocal wackos. It’s a bit like thinking all Muslims are terrorists and all Germans are Nazis. Grow up people!!!
